The Horizon Inn can best be described as a hotel where the ambiance of a country inn combines with the architecture of a well-built lodge. Built in the early seventies, the Horizon Inn was originally operated as a ski lodge during the winter and as an overnight stop for travelers during the warmer months. Group tour business started in the mid-seventies and we are happy to report that our tour business has grown to a 12 month year round operation which is why many groups return here year after year.
Tucked into the side of Vermont’s Green Mountains, located on 11 acres along Route 9 between Bennington and Brattleboro, the Inn resides on gently sloping grounds with beautifully manicured lawns and lush landscaping. Glorious, panoramic views of Vermont’s beautiful Green Mountains can be relished while strolling the grounds and from sitting areas.
