Spring has arrived in Southern Vermont!!

Mount Snow will remain open thru the April 12th weekend!  Snowmobiling is still, as of this writing, open in Woodford.  Stumpjumper trails are closing fast. The official closing date for the entire Vast system is April 15.

Let us hope for a better snow season this year!  February and March of last year were great.  It would be nice to have it all season!

Alpine Skiing & Snowboard

Several ski areas are easily assessable from the Horizon Inn including Haystack (10 minutes), Mt. Snow, (15 minutes), Stratton (45 minutes), and Okemo (60 minutes) and others. Killington is even only 1.75 hours from the facility.
Ski and Stay prices for the 2006-07 season begin at $79 PPPD double occupancy.  Yes that includes your lodging and your lift ticket!

Cross Country Skiing

Cross Country Skiing found at several fine area businesses, including Prospect Mountain (15 minutes), Timbercreek (15 minutes), the White House (5 minutes), the Hermitage (10 minutes) and the Sitzmark (10 minutes).   Discounts are available.
